I have enjoyed massaging friends and family for over 15 years and decided to train in a professional capacity with a view to helping more people experience the holistic benefits of massage. I have diplomas in Indian Head Massage, Facial Rejuvenation and Anatomy & Physiology. I am very interested in naturopathic medicine and studied nutritional therapy in 2010. I subscribe to the Chinese theory that the skin is our second stomach and therefore only use organic, vegan and cruelty-free oils and products which nourish the skin to promote healthy ageing and stimulate natural healing. Amaira Spa is Vegan Founded and part of the Green Salon scheme, as we want to be as sustainable and ethical in everything we do, for you, the animals and the planet.
I am a member of the Guild of Holistic Therapists, the UK’s professional trade body of holistic therapists, which maintains standards of education, ethics, practice and discipline to ensure the health and safety of the public at all times. When you are treated by a MGHT registered holistic therapist you can be confident that your wellbeing and safety is at the core of everything the practitioner does.
I trained at the Uniquely Organic Eco Spa in Hove which won best Spa in the South last year and hope to create the same relaxing spa experience in each session using calming music and aromatherapy oils to instil a sense of tranquillity and help clients truly unwind and feel the full, lasting benefits of both treatments.
